Lifeline Geelong Services
Lifeline Geelong Barwon Region offers callers confidential, personal support from trained crisis supporters through our 24 hour telephone crisis support service or our face to face personal and emotional support service.
- Telephone Crisis Support: This 24 hour, 7 day a week service operates with the assistance of trained volunteer telephone crisis supporters.
Lifeline’s volunteer telephone crisis supporters receive more than 500,000 calls every year – which equates to one new call every minute. Our crisis supporters are men and women who undertake an intensive training program and are required to continually update their crisis support skills through on-going training.
- Face to Face Support: Our face to face personal and emotional support service provides trained personnel to help with any personal concerns and offer ongoing support and referral. Appointments can be made Monday to Friday between 9am to 4pm by calling our Lifeline Geelong Barwon Region office on 03 5222 2255.
